APPROVAL OF EXPULSION CASE NO. 08-224
Description
On February 1, 2008, the student listed in Expulsion Case No. 08-224, violated School Board Policy 5.34 (1)(d), Possession and Use of Counterfeit Money. It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the student be expelled from the Sarasota County Schools until June 15 of the 2008-2009 academic year.
Recommendation
That in accordance with provisions of Sections 1006.07 (1)(a)(b), Florida Statutes and School board Policy 5.34, and the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case No. 08-224, to expel the student referenced therein from the Sarasota County Schools, be approved effective immediately for the remainder of the 2007-2008 academic year, the 2008 summer session, and the entire 2008-2009 academic year.
